SECTION 00030 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF OREM 56 North State Street Orem, UT 84057 RECEIPT OF BIDS: Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of the 2013 Sewer & Waterline Project (733-234 & 733-235) will be received by the City Engineer at the City of Orem, Engineering Division, 56 North State, Orem, Utah, 84057, until February 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on February 20, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained January 30, 2013, at the City of Orem, Engineering Division, Development Services Offices, 56 North State Street, Orem, Utah, 84057. There will be a $25.00 nonrefundable fee for a copy of the plans and specifications. (An additional $5.00 service charge will be assessed if the plans and specifications are to be mailed). DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The WORK includes installation of approximately 3,650 LF of 12" waterline, 5,050 LF of 8" waterline, 200 LF of 6" waterline, and 645 LF of 8" sanitary sewer pipe. The engineer's estimate is $1,000,000 to $1,100,000. A plan holder's list is available online under City Services, Projects at Bid at www.orem.org. SITE OF WORK: The site of the WORK is located at various locations in Orem City including: 800 West, 180 West, and Center Street.
