NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT AND PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD EXTENSION West Davis Corridor, A UDOT Project The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), has prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for a potential transportation corridor in western Davis and Weber counties. UDOT released the Draft EIS for public review on May 16, 2013. The No Build alternative and the eight build alternatives under consideration are presented in detail within the Draft EIS. Copies of the Draft EIS are available for review at city buildings in Centerville, Clearfield, Clinton, Farmington, Hooper, Kaysville, Layton, Roy, Sunset, Syracuse, West Haven and West Point; and at libraries in Bountiful, Farmington, Layton, Syracuse, Clearfield, Ogden and North Ogden. A PDF version is also available online at www.udot.utah.gov/westdavis. To ensure all members of the public have ample opportunity to review the Draft EIS, UDOT and FHWA have extended the public comment period through Friday, Sept. 6, 2013. Members of the public are invited to submit written comments online at www.udot.utah.gov/westdavis, email comments to westdavis@utah.gov or mail comments to the West Davis Corridor project office, 466 North 900 West, Kaysville, UT 84037.
