NOTICE INVITING GENERAL CONTRACTORS TO PREQUALIFY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF MONROE STREET - PHASE 1 PROJECT Sandy City Public Works (OWNER) will accept Prequalification Information from contractors interested in bidding on the Monroe Street Phase 1 Project. The project consists of construction of 1,378 linear feet of a 5 lane roadway consisting of the installation of approximately 92,500 square feet of 9.5" Portland cement concrete pavement (PCCP), 2,750 linear feet of standard curb and gutter, 280 linear feet of sidewalk, 12" of granular borrow and 6" of untreated base coarse road structure on stabilization fabric. The project also includes the installation of new water main; new fire hydrants; 24", 21", 15", and 12" reinforced concrete pipe (RCP); 24" and 18" elliptical pipe; and storm drain inlet and cleanout boxes; all as described in the Contract Documents. All construction will be in accordance with Sandy City specifications. Traffic control plans shall be prepared by the Contractor. Bids will only be accepted from General Contractors that are prequalified by the OWNER. No other General Contractors will be eligible to bid on this Project. The prequalification documents may be obtained at the office of the Sandy City Purchasing Agent located at 10000 Centennial Parkway, Suite 330, Sandy, Utah, 84070, or by calling Mindi Bos at (801) 568-7148.
