NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the City Recorder, Room 415, City/County Building, 451 South State Street, Salt Lake City, Utah until 2:00 P.M. local prevailing time on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, or in Room 315, City Council Chambers, until 2:00 P.M. for the Regional Athletic Complex (RAC) Exploratory and Production Well located at 2280 North Rose Park Lane, Project No. 5132262. A prequalification process will be used prior to bidding. The general well drilling contractor prequalification proposals as posted on www.bidsync are due on September 13, 2013. All contractors that qualify can then submit a bid for the work. A prebid meeting for all prequalified contractors will be held on September 25, 2013 and a bid opening as noted above on October 2, 2013. Bids will be publicly opened in Room 315, City/County Building,451 South State Street, at or about 2:00 P.M. local prevailing time on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 by the Salt Lake City Recorder. On the outside of the envelope, the bidder shall indicate the nature of the bid and include the bidders return mailing address. A 5 percent bid bond will be accepted in lieu of a certified check. Bid bonds/checks will be returned to unsuccessful bidders after tabulation and award of the contract. INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS: Specifications and plans may be obtained at the Salt Lake City Public Utilities Office at 1530 South West Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah on September 23, 2013 a $10.00 non-refundable fee will be required for each complete set.
