INVITATION TO BID Sandy Suburban Improvement District is accepting sealed bids for the River Crossing Stabilization Project located in Sandy, Utah. The purpose of the project is to install bank stabilization and rip rap to protect an existing concrete encased sewer pipeline crossing of the Jordan River at approximately 8800 South in Sandy. The WORK includes removing debris and material from the river channel, installing approximately 280 feet of bank stabilization and constructing riprap drop structures downstream of the sewer crossing. A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 9:00 AM on August 29, 2013 at the office of Sandy Suburban Improvement District (SSID), Owner of the Work, located at 8855 South 700 West Sandy, Utah 84070. An electronic copy of the Contract Documents may be by obtained by emailing the office of the Engineer: Bowen, Collins & Associates, at grasmusen@bowencollins.com after 10:00 AM on August 22, 2013. Sealed Bids will be received at the office of Sandy Suburban Improvement District (SSID), Owner of the Work, located at 8855 South 700 West Sandy, Utah 84070 until 10:00 AM, on Thursday, September 12, 2013 for construction of the River Crossing Stabilization Project. Any Bids received after the specified time will not be considered. The bids will be publicly opened and read at that time.
